I got the mushroom poi from here! It was yummy delicious The owner is super kind too. Gave me the best veg suggestion. Will visit this food truck whenever I visit South Goa Service: Takeaway Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We came here after recommendation, for evening snacks/dinner. Its a food truck with the menu is mostly snacks and small plates, mostly based on goan recipes and some Chinese improvisation. The staff was very helpful and they really took time to cook it best, so the food is fresh. I personally found the sauces they toss food in too harsh for stomac: a lot of acids and some oil. In general it's a tasty fast food option, and you can go for it if your guts are strong. But it won't work for delicate tummies. We took a plate with 3 wings, meatballs, 1/4 chicken and fries. Additionally we took crispy cauliflower for fiber. The chicken and cauli were the best. Fries were also a guilty pleasure. Wings were okay and meatballs was a disappointment: hard and not juicy at all. Bill was near 900rs for 2 people. You get better healthier options in this price range. Dear EP, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback! Your review has us scratching our heads like a chicken in a sandpit - three stars has us feeling somewhere between clucking with joy and ruffled feathers! We're egg-static that you enjoyed our fresh cooking approach and found our staff helpful! Like a mother hen tending her chicks, we do take extra time to ensure everything's cooked to perfection. We hear you about our sauces being a bit bold - they're like that one rooster who crows a little too loudly at dawn! While we pride ourselves on our unique Goan-inspired flavors, we understand they might not be everyone's cup of tea (or should we say, bowl of feed?). It warms our hearts that you enjoyed our grilled ghicken, crispy cauliflower, and those guilty-pleasure fries! However, we're disappointed our meatballs weren't up to scratch - they should be as tender as a spring chicken, not as tough as an old rooster. We've taken your feedback to heart and are working on perfecting them. About the value - while our prices might ruffle some feathers, we ensure every ingredient is fresh and high-quality. However, we respect that everyone's nest egg is different! We'd love to have you back and show you some of our milder options - we can definitely adjust the sauce levels to be gentler on delicate tummies. After all, we want our customers feeling as happy as a chicken in a corn field! Until then, keep spreading those wings! Gratefully yours, The Irmao's Crew P.S. Next time, let us know about your sauce preferences - we can make your dishes as mild as a chick or as spicy as a feisty rooster! #IrmaosListens
16.08.2024 Was going to my stay cottage in COLVA after a long day's adventure, with a couple of my friends, It was past 10pm, I noticed a bright red truck in a street corner with a rooster logo as we went past, immediately turned back and went to the truck, "IRMAO's" was it's name. I was expecting it to be a usual indo Chinese or fried chicken place, but to my slight disappointment, the menu was not what I expected, It had some unique type of grill chicken, saucy wings etc. I saw two young women eagerly waiting for my order, I asked if they had any type of fried rice, they said no, but suggested to try their special rice dish called "fiery OUZZO chicken rice", they guaranteed it would satisfy us. I decided to give it a try, and ordered one ouzzo rice to take away. The two girls were polite and friendly. Had to wait for few minutes, one of them was preparing my order keenly with care. Got my parcel and we went back to our stay. The box felt heavy and hot, opened it, had ample amount of Rice and 6-7 pieces of chicken on top, had a spoon of the rice, it was definitely unique, with a subtle level of spice to it, the spl sauce in the rice tasted really good, tangy, the chicken pieces were tender and properly cooked. One pack was enough for two of us, and we are better than avg eaters. This dish matched well for my friend's Drink , the dish costed only 179 and it was well worth the money! ! I wish this truck and the two friends running it, more success. And if or when I visit Goa again, I will definitely try this IRMAO's food truck again!! Leaving to bangalore tonite and then chennai Bye bye goa Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Dear Reuben Richardson, Holy rooster feathers! Your review has us clucking with more excitement than a ghicken that's just laid a golden egg! We're absolutely over the moon (or should we say, over the coop?) that you stumbled upon our little nest in the late-night streets of Colva! First off, we're thrilled that our bright red truck with the rooster logo caught your eye. Looks like our feathered friend did his job better than a rooster at sunrise! We're sorry we couldn't offer you the fried rice you were initially looking for, but boy oh boy, are we glad you took a chance on our Fiery Ouzzo ghicken Rice! Sounds like it hit the spot harder than a chicken pecking at corn! And pairing well with your friend's drink? That's what we call a match made in hen heaven! We're absolutely chuffed that you found our portions generous. After all, we believe in feeding our customers until they're as stuffed as a Thanksgiving turkey! And at just 179 rupees? That's what we call a clucking good deal! Your kind words about our staff have us puffing up our chests like proud peacocks. Our two leading ladies running the truck are the cream of the crop, the top of the pecking order, if you will! We're egg-static that you'll be coming back to try us again on your next Goa visit. We'll be here, ready to ruffle your feathers with more delicious surprises! As you wing your way back to Bangalore and then Chennai, know that you've left us with hearts as full as our rice boxes. Goa will miss you, and so will we! Safe travels, Reuben! May your journey be smoother than our creamiest sauce and your memories of Goa (and Irmao's) be as warm as our Ouzzo Chicken fresh off the grill. Until we meet again, keep spreading that Irmao's love, and remember - in our book, you're the real MVP (Most Valuable Poultry-discoverer)! Gratefully yours, The Irmao's Crew P.S. Next time you're in Goa, whisper "Reuben's Midnight Feast" to us. We might just have a special late-night surprise that'll make your taste buds do the midnight macarena! #IrmaosSecret
