I'm thrilled to share my second stay experience at Iris Cottage in Manali, two years after my first visit. Everything about this place still impresses me - the location, views, food (especially the Kadhai Paneer, one of the best I've ever had), and more. I'd like to extend special gratitude to the owner, Mr. Jaypal, who went out of his way to help us plan our trip and experience live snow. He's extremely polite, courteous, and welcoming. The hospitality at Iris Cottage is top-notch, with impeccable rooms, staff, and pricing. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting Manali. Its prime location makes it easily accessible to major spots like Mall Road and the Volvo Bus Stand. Everything is conveniently nearby. Service: 5

This is a place you go for their service. The manager is really helpful with suggestions for places to see, planning the day and arranging things. Loved the views from the cottage. I would go here during summers as heating during winters could be an issue. Cafe downstairs is nicely done with the view of the mountains. Service: 5

This place is truly a hidden gem and one of the best stays we’ve experienced. We visited here in December 2024, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The host, Jaypal, is exceptionally kind, humble, and attentive. We also had the pleasure of meeting Nitin, a sweet and cheerful kid who added a lot of warmth to our stay with his lively presence. The food here is absolutely delicious, offering authentic and fresh home-cooked meals that we couldn’t get enough of. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, each dish was prepared with love and care. The location is stunning, surrounded by breathtaking views that are perfect for relaxation and soaking in nature’s beauty. The also provides bonfires on request —it is the perfect way to spend chilly evenings, sitting by the fire and enjoying the serene atmosphere. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with amazing hospitality, great food, and picturesque surroundings, this place is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to visit again! Service: 5
