Unhygienic and Appalling Service..Fungus in My Child's Food! - Avoid for Your Safety I had a deeply disturbing experience at The Great Irani Cafe, Baner branch, last night. My 4-year-old son was eating a cheesecake when we discovered fungus growing on it. When we brought this serious health hazard to the manager's attention, his response was shocking. Instead of apologizing, he blamed us, saying we should have "checked the food before eating." This is an irresponsible and arrogant stance. The quality and safety of the food are the restaurant's responsibility, not the customer's. I am sharing this to warn other parents and customers. Do not take a risk with your health. When we told the waiter about excessive oil in paneer burji, "pehle batana chaiye tha na" was a blunt response. Escalated this to the owner after showing this photo, he said the same. So, according to them, if you are a new person going there, must specify everything. They have many customers dining in and have no value for anyone. Rude, not recommended at all.
