I recently visited Irani Cafe and had a mixed but memorable experience. The bread was fresh and soft, pairing perfectly with the Mutton Keema, which was incredibly flavorful and rich. The Mutton Cutlet stood out as a highlight — crispy on the outside and juicy inside, absolutely delicious. The Baklava, however, was average — decent but nothing special. Unfortunately, the Raspberry Mocktail was a big letdown, tastes like cough syrup not something I’d order again. Still, a great spot for hearty, nostalgic Irani fare. Love the vibe of this place... Its so much about the food ! Authentic Irani Cafe... thats what I am talking about... The list of "Do Nots... "sign is hilarious to say the least but in all what I understood is ... don't loiter or hang around to use your phones etc. We do good food and we do it quickly... Enjoy our food and move on so that someone else maybe able to enjoy our food at that table... And that screams "authenticity" and no bullshit to me ! The scrambled eggs called Akurli or something was so good ! The Cheese Bun Maska and your desi chai... Tried the "Irani Omelette" but wasn't a fan of that. Maybe just should have gone for your bog standard Masala omelette... But surely next time. There is so much on the menu that I really want to try... So if u are around in Pune and want some real desi breakfast... don't miss out... Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Irani Cafe never disappoints when it comes to food – their egg and chicken dishes are absolutely amazing, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The chai and bun maska? Pure love! A classic combo that warms the heart. Also, don’t miss their blueberry cheesecake – it’s rich, creamy, and just melts in your mouth. The only downside is that they’re a bit too strict with their rules, especially about not allowing the use of charging points. We had a genuine emergency once, but they still denied us – which was a little disappointing. Food-wise, it’s a 10/10. Just wish there was a little more flexibility when it comes to customer needs.
