Beautiful place and good food. The only issue is they know that and hence are indifferent towards the customers. Also not to forget the same sign everywhere telling you to not make noise.. that’s a bit uninviting

I personally had an amazing experience while here. Surely one of the finest cafes in Dharamshala when it comes to food and ambience. The coffees have been really good, particularly their mocha. Ordered their pizzas, quiche and chocolate cake. Pizza was thin crust, well done. Quiche was also decent.
Disappointed with their chocolate cake though. The cake was not baked well.

Coming to the feel of the cafe, they have some nice indoor seating with stacks of books. They have a couple of outdoor tables as well, but you will have to be lucky to get them. The view is just to enjoy a pleasant evening

The dreamiest work location I have ever come across, Illiterati Books and Coffee, till a few years ago was a well-kept secret of McLeodganj. And now, the #1 rated restaurant on Trip Advisor. The coziest nooks full of loads and loads of books, freshly brewed coffee and tea and comfort food with a breathtaking view of the hills.
