Pros: • Bustling Atmosphere: If there is one thing this place has, it's a lot of foot traffic. It's clearly a popular, well-known spot in town, even if the food doesn't quite justify the hype. Cons: • Underwhelming Food: Despite the name and the crowd, the food just isn't that great. Compared to other vegetarian restaurants in the area, the taste here falls surprisingly flat. • Seating Struggles: Because it is constantly overcrowded, finding a seat is a huge hassle. It makes for a very rushed and uncomfortable dining experience. • Outdated Facilities: The building and dining area are showing their age. The facilities feel old and could definitely use an upgrade or better maintenance. The Verdict:. Don't let the huge crowds fool you—The Idly Shop is largely riding on hype. Between the struggle to find a table in the cramped, aging facility and the surprisingly mediocre taste of the food, it simply doesn't hold up against other vegetarian options in Muvattupuzha.
