This restaurant has two sections. One is family section and other is bar section.
Ambiance - We went to the family section and there are around 6-7 tables with nice sitting chair/sofa arrangement. Ceiling’s height is little low but that should be fine. It was nice chilling and a soothing blue light was adding a gentle touch to overall ambiance but still it was lacking that zeal of restaurant. Entire restaurant (this section) was almost empty. Both sections are separated by two doors. May be there were people on the bar section on the other side of the door of the restaurant.
Food – We started with mock tail and ordered peach mock tail. It was big let-down. First it was served in wrong glass. Probably they might not have expected anyone ordering mock tail here. It was not tasty as well. Big no to the mock tails.
Achari Paneer Tikka – The marination of paneer was good. Paneer was not so mouth meltingly soft but still if was good. Paneer was properly cooked in tandoor. Salad was just okay. It was more of onions only. Accompanied chutney was okay not that good. Overall it was a good dish.
Paneer Butter Masala – We wanted to go with little sweet and hence decided to give this a try. This was very well prepared dish. Paneer was just like starter tikka without any tandoor grilled nor marinate just plain paneer pieces. However gravy was really tasty. It was one of the best gravy I have ever tasted. A definitely yes to this dish.
Garlic Naan and Butter Paratha – Both were nice. Garlic naan has decent amount of garlics and very well tandoor cooked with melting butter and coriander. Butter Paratha was also good.
There were not many options for nice desserts so that was about it for the dinner.
Service – Well, It was tad slow. Though only we were in restaurant and later some other folks came in but still they took time to serve. However being in hotel assuming you have gone there for stay, if you just want to have a quit time, you can ignore the waiting.
I guess I can still give this restaurant a try one more time. I am sure their main course seems to be good treat if not anything else.
