After almost five years, my family and I were excited to return to this restaurant for some Mandi. But as soon as we stepped inside, it was clear that things had changed for the worse. Instead of the welcoming atmosphere we remembered, there was a feeling of neglect and decay hanging in the air. The place looked rundown from the start, with a strong smell wafting from the hand wash area and flies buzzing around the dining hall. It seemed like every fly in Hyderabad had decided to make this restaurant their home. Despite the less-than-ideal conditions, we decided to order Mandi, hoping it would still be as good as we remembered. Unfortunately, what we got was a disappointment. The portion was tiny, barely enough to fill us up, and the meat was mostly bones with very little actual meat weighing around 70 to 80 grams out of which 50 to 60 grams were bones. The taste was bland, like eating plain rice without any seasoning. And don't even get me started on the soup they served – it was nothing like any soup I've ever tasted before. To top it all off, the service was terrible. Our waiter seemed completely clueless and couldn't even get our orders right. Overall, I wouldn't recommend wasting your time and money at this restaurant. It's gone downhill since our last visit, and the experience was far from enjoyable. This place serves middle eastern street food and probably the only place that serves the murtabak in Hyderabad which is a very famous street food in Hyderabad. Definitely visit the restaurant to try that out. There is a limited menu of other middle eastern dishes, all done decently well, although i would not rate it as the best hummus or the best khubbus I have had, the hummus was quite silky smooth though it could do with a little more seasoning for example, but it would still satisfy your hummus craving fairly well. Definitely try once kind of place. This place is nestled in the famous Yusuf tekri food complex in hyd. Parking is generally easy to find on the road next to it, though u might need to walk a little. Vibe and design is like that of a college canteen. So expect as much and relish it even. Recommended : murtabak. Vegetarian options: Very few vegetarian options - basically different combinations of hummus, falafel, salad, and murtabak in egg or banana.
