IL GUSTO is an open a stall in Newtown that serves one of the best Italian dishes in that area. They haven't compromised in that taste yet their prices are very pocket friendly and are customisable as well. What all did we try? Ceasar Salad: this had all the fresh vegetables and some amazing dressing with a tinge of sourness and also, the crunch of the croutons. The lettuce, cheery tomatoes, creamy and shredded chicken tasted simply divine. Chicken Stroganoff is a comfort food classic with a tangy sour cream sauce, and tender chicken breast served with buttery herbed rice. We had tried this amazing chicken stroganoff from this place and simply fell in love with the mild taste of herbs, the texture of the sauce, the tender chicken and the herb tossed rice. Chicken Sandwich was really wholesome here with some generous amount of chicken being stuffed between the breads and grilled to give a crunchy texture. White sauce Pasta that I have had here is one of the best white sauce pastas that I have tasted in recent days, with the most creamy and smooth texture and some crunchy and freshly tossed vegetables which weren't overly cooked and had the Aroma freshness and crunch in every bite. Chocolate Milkshake: as thick as the chocolate milkshake looked it also had some KitKat chunks while being prepared and is one of the most refreshing drinks to beat the heat this summer. Also, are you a chai person? Then this place definitely has something to offer you as well. And that is, their famous Kulhadwali Chai. To your normal the at some mild Aroma of the saffron, cardamom and ginger, served to you in a 'Kulhad'. Panco Fried Fish is one of their best Delicacies. The outer coating is a panko breadcrumbs which is crunchy and grainy in texture on the other hand the inside is filled with flaky and well seasoned fish fillets that are extremely fresh and very succulent. This place is basically an Italian stall that has seating arrangements in open air and will serve you one of the best Italian dishes in the whole of Newtown and the surrounding areas as well. Well not to brag too much, but definitely I haven't had such good Italian food even at good and classy dine-in restaurants. Highly recommended
