I recently visited with a serious craving for some spicy, aromatic rice, and I am happy to report that this restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The aroma hitting you the moment you walk in sets the stage for a fantastic meal, but it’s the distinct variety of biryanis that keeps you coming back. I decided to go all out and try three specific items from their menu, and each had its own unique personality. First up was the Boneless Chicken Gongura Biryani. If you love that distinct, tangy zest that comes from sorrel leaves, this is a masterpiece. The gongura masala was rich and earthy, perfectly coating the tender boneless chicken pieces without overpowering the fragrance of the basmati rice. It was a refreshing departure from the usual biryani flavors. Next, I tried the Guntur Chicken Biryani. This one is definitely for those who love a good kick of spice! The heat from the Guntur chilies was evident but not uncomfortable; it had that fiery Andhra-style punch that pairs so beautifully with the cooling raita. The spice level was spot on—enough to wake up your palate but flavorful enough to savor every bite. However, the undisputed star of the meal—and my absolute personal favorite—was the Chicken Kebab Biryani. This dish was on another level. The kebabs were marinated to perfection, frying up crispy on the outside while remaining incredibly juicy and succulent on the inside. When mixed with the aromatic, long-grain biryani rice, it created a texture and flavor combination that was simply addictive. It’s rare to find a place where the kebabs don't dry out in the biryani, but here, they were flawless. Overall, the portion sizes were generous, the flavors were authentic, and the quality of the meat was excellent.
