I visited Al Raidan Restaurant in Pattambi and ordered their Mandhi rice and Al Fahm, but unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The food was served cold, which immediately took away from the enjoyment of the meal. The Al Fahm chicken was extremely dry, lacking any juiciness or proper seasoning, making it unpleasant to eat. The mayonnaise served on the side had a very loose texture and was completely flavorless, which made it feel more like an afterthought than a complement to the dish. The Mandhi rice itself didn’t resemble authentic Mandhi at all — it tasted more like plain boiled rice without any of the signature spices or aroma one would expect. The overall quality of the food was poor, and the service wasn’t any better — inattentive and unprofessional. However, one positive thing I can mention is that the quantity of food served was generous, which might appeal to those looking for large portions. But in terms of taste and experience, it left a lot to be desired.
