If you are an architecture enthusiast, then this place is a must visit for you. This place is a sneak peak into the architecture of Goan houses for just ₹ 150 (out of which ₹ 50 is redeemable at the souvenir shop and café). It is a G+3 structure with 3 floors covering various aspects of Goan architecture - from floor plans, front elevations, sections to actual parts of buildings like tiles, windows etc. Although I was there for my love of architecture, but there were many people who found unique niches and backgrounds for their own photoshoot. The café was also really cozy and served tasty food. I highly recommend this place for an offbeat Goan experience.

Welcomed by the warmest smile and the softest-spoken gentleman, we stepped into Goa’s rich roots and the houses, brought to life through quirky, captivating displays, many inspired by the legendary Mario Miranda. Tucked between schools, with a charming little café and thoughtful design by Gerard da Cunha, this place is a must-visit. Go for the architecture will you?

Many people assume that the Houses of Goa Museum features various types of houses that can be explored in one place. However, the museum consists of a single, three-story building that displays photographs and photo frames of different types of Portuguese houses. The entry ticket costs ₹150, which includes a ₹50 coupon. This coupon can be redeemed to purchase books, souvenirs, or showpieces from the gallery, or for tea or breakfast at the café. The other building or statue you see in Google photos is actually from the school located near the museum. The person at the reception desk is very talkative, humorous, and incredibly sweet-almost sweeter than sugar..!
