This is my honest review regarding House of Awadh, previously known as Akram Biryani. They opened their store in 2023. I am typically a monthly customer, visiting them twice or sometimes three times a month. Honestly, I really like the taste of their biryani and other products. It has been over 8 months now, and I have been consistently enjoying their biryani. However, today (03/01/2025), I asked them politely if they could include a small quantity of chicken chap gravy with my biryani, if possible. The staff was kind enough to provide it, but out of nowhere, the owner came and started quarrelling with the staff, reprimanding them for giving the gravy for free. This happened right in front of me. I felt disgusted by this behavior. I didn’t beg for the gravy—I simply asked if they could add it. If they wanted to charge me for it, they could have just informed me, and I would have gladly paid for it (which I eventually did). But instead, the owner chose to create unnecessary drama. It made me feel as though I was eating the biryani for free, which is far from the truth. After this incident, I am highly disappointed and no longer wish to visit their store again. Such drama and behavior are completely unjustified, especially towards a regular customer like me. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
