I recently visited this place and absolutely loved it! The ambiance is quite aesthetic with beautiful décor and cozy vibes. The bar setup adds a classy touch, and the overall atmosphere feels very welcoming. We ordered beer, pasta, and crispy corn — and everything tasted delicious! The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was on point. The fact that it’s a pure veg place yet offers such great variety and taste is truly impressive. This spot is perfect for couples, friends, or even a casual hangout. Highly recommend visiting if you're looking for great food, good vibes, and a stylish setting! House Number 230 – The Gourmet Kitchen lives up to its name in more ways than one. Nestled in a charming, tastefully designed space, this restaurant offers an elevated yet welcoming dining experience for both intimate and large gatherings. We visited as a family of 11, including two toddlers, and the experience was genuinely delightful. Ambience & Seating The ambience strikes a perfect balance between upscale dining and cozy comfort. The interiors are thoughtfully curated—earthy tones, contemporary lighting, and soft background music created a pleasant atmosphere. Despite our large group, we were comfortably seated at a well-arranged table with enough space for everyone, including high chairs for the toddlers. The staff had also ensured that the table was ready ahead of time, making our arrival smooth and hassle-free. Food & Presentation The menu boasts a diverse selection of gourmet dishes with a modern twist on traditional favorites. Each course—from starters to desserts—was beautifully plated and served hot. We ordered a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items, and each dish stood out in its own right. Appetizers: The stuffed mushroom croquettes and butter garlic prawns were crowd favorites. Fresh, flavorful, and gone in minutes. Mains: The slow-cooked lamb shanks, herbed chicken risotto, and paneer steak with saffron gravy were standout choices. Each had layers of flavor and was perfectly cooked. Kids Menu: Surprisingly, the toddlers were well-catered with fresh fruit platters, pasta with mild seasoning, and soft breads. A thoughtful touch. Desserts: The tiramisu, molten chocolate cake, and rose petal panna cotta were indulgent yet not overly sweet. A fitting end to the meal. Service & Staff The staff was courteous, attentive, and very accommodating—especially considering we had two toddlers who needed a little extra attention. They frequently checked in without being intrusive and ensured all special requests (like less spice, extra cutlery, toddler-friendly portions) were met promptly. Service time was reasonable despite the size of our group and a moderately full house. Value for Money While on the higher end of the price spectrum, the experience felt worth it. The portions were generous, the quality of ingredients was excellent, and the overall hospitality added to the value. For a group of 11, including kids, the meal felt like a well-curated evening rather than just a dinner outing. Final Thoughts If you're looking for a place that combines gourmet cuisine with family-friendly comfort, House Number 230 – The Gourmet Kitchen is an excellent choice. Whether it's a family gathering, celebration, or a special night out, this spot delivers both style and substance. We left full, happy, and already planning a return visit. Recommended Dishes: Butter Garlic Prawns Lamb Shank Paneer Steak in Saffron Gravy Rose Petal Panna Cotta Would I return? Absolutely – especially for a family celebration or an upscale casual evening.
