Hotel New Mahadev is a great stopover on the way from Bhimashankar to Pune. The place is very neat and well-maintained, offering good food at a very reasonable price. I tried Matki Bhel and Misal Pav, both of which were delicious. The highlight, however, was the filter coffee—absolutely amazing in taste! The washrooms and other facilities were clean, making it a comfortable place to take a break. There’s also a good selection of snacks and other essentials available at the entrance. An added bonus is the beautiful sunset view from here, making it a perfect spot to relax before continuing the journey.
