We stopped on the way to Kottayam from Angamaly at the Kureeckal Hotel & Bakery. The driver accompanying the place to us. The tea was very good. The staff served us with ginger black tea on request. I tried the muffin here. It was extremely soft, delicious and tasty. We had a paper roast dosa from here. It was also good. It is a must visit and a very old eatery in the locality. "More than 40 people were admitted due to food poisoning, and this hotel has been closed for several days. They serve the worst and most unhygienic food. If you visit their kitchen even once, you’ll never eat from there again — they handle food with bare hands and serve old, stored food." "The hotel staff think we eat without paying, and their behavior is very rude. They act like they are kings and we are slaves. No one even bothers to take our order."
