Delivery Nightmare: 3 Hours of Lies, Zero Food. This was not just a bad experience; it was outright negligence and a complete disregard for the customer's time and hunger. Tonight (Date: 21st october), we placed our order with Vijay Lakshmi Bar and Restaurant at 21:59 (9:59 PM). The order included Manchurian, Naan, Fried Rice, and a Paneer dish. We were promised delivery within 45 minutes. The ordeal began when we called ourselves at around 10:00 PM (well over an hour after the promised time) to check on the status. The first excuse: "Heavy Diwali traffic, it will be there in 10 minutes.". What followed was a frustrating cycle of lies! Over the next hour and a half (until 11:46 AM), we called the restaurant 14 times. Each time, we received the same pathetic reply: "The delivery person is stuck in traffic," or "Just 10 minutes more.". We waited, hungry, for nearly 3 hours, believing their repeated false promises. And then, after all that harassment and wasted time, the final insult came around 12:35 AM when they shamelessly declared: "We cannot send the food.". Are you running a delivery service or a joke? Why promise a 45-minute delivery if you can't fulfil it for 3 hours, only to cancel the order in the end? Do you have no respect for your customers' time or hunger? Just because of this my family is sleeping hungry on the auspicious day of Diwali which I hoped to be a happy one. This is unacceptable, disrespectful, and utterly terrible service. If you cannot manage delivery logistics, please stop offering the service. We will be following up with the management regarding this level of incompetence.
