I recently visited Hotel Venkatesh and had a satisfying breakfast. I ordered idli with chutney, sambar, and tea, along with a vada on the side. The idli was soft and well-cooked, making for a great start. The chutney was a standout—super flavorful and fresh. However, the sambar was below average, lacking the punch in flavor that I was expecting. The vada was also excellent, crispy on the outside and soft inside, pairing perfectly with the chutney. Lastly, the tea was good, just the right balance to finish the meal. Overall, I’d recommend the place for the idli, chutney, vada, and tea, but the sambar could use some improvement.
