Tucked inside an authentic Goan style building, the restaurant has marine memorabilia as a part of its lovely decor. Known for their legendary architecture, they even have intimate seating experience for two on their balcony, the ambience of this restaurant has a vintage look kind of a Portuguese Style which makes it more attractive and eye-catchy and the place is quite photogenic. With its cute rickety balcony tables overhanging the cobbled street, it has been among the most atmospheric places of Panaji’s Goan restaurants. Coming to the food, try their recommended traditional dishes like spicy sausages, fish curry rice, pepper steak, stuffed banged fry and bebinca (Goan 16-layer cake). However, it is popular with tourists and prices are consequently inflated, so just drop in for a beer or shot of feni (Goan liquor) before deciding. The rickety bar-vibe and the service have earned them tonnes of regular customers. Overall it is a peaceful and cherishing place to hang out with your friends’.
