Most visitors suppose that the staff is efficient at this place. Hotel Vatsalya is notable for its terrific service. But this place has been rated below average by Google.
It should be a crime for this place to even exist, but its festive season in Udaipur and there are always desperate enough people (us in this case) We got a room at ₹3,000 and the audacity of the owner to tell me that we got a sweet "deal" was genuinely inspiring. Apparently people are fighting for these rooms at ₹5,000 when the peak season arrives. Pros: Cons: Terrible hygiene Non-existent room service Deals only in cash
Pathetic. Unclean, unhygienic rooms. The staff is not at all interested to help you. The only pro is it's location, which is nearby to the old city. Avoid staying here, there are much better alternatives available at the same price point.
Disappointing Experience I'm extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Hotel Vatsalya. The hotel's condition and service fell far short of my expectations. *Major Concerns:* - *Unclean Toilets*: The toilets were not clean, and the state of hygiene was unacceptable. It was unbearable to use the facilities. - *Poor Housekeeping*: The room wasn't cleaned daily, and the bed sheets weren't changed during my entire stay. This lack of attention to detail was appalling. - *Rude Staff*: The staff's behavior was rude and unhelpful. When I brought these issues to their attention, they seemed unconcerned and uncooperative. - *Cash Only & No Bill*: The hotel insisted on cash payments and didn't provide any bill or receipt, which is not only inconvenient but also raises concerns about transparency and accountability. *Overall Experience:* My stay was unpleasant and uncomfortable. Given the subpar conditions, poor service, and questionable payment practices, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. *Advice:* If you value cleanliness, good service, and transparent payment practices, consider looking elsewhere. Until the hotel addresses these issues, I wouldn't stay here again.
