Disappointing Experience After Renovation I visited Hotel Udupi Home at 9:30 PM today and ordered 2 plates of parota (₹75 each), 1 onion dosa (₹75), and 1 plate of idli (₹40). While the prices are reasonable compared to today's market, I was extremely disappointed with the staff behavior at the self-service counter and the quality of the food.Having known this hotel since 2006, I was once a fan of their parota. However, the taste has significantly deteriorated post-renovation. The parota was poorly made and cooked, a stark contrast to the delightful flavors I remember. It seems the cooking team has changed, and it shows.When I expressed my disappointment to the owner, mentioning that we both know how good the food used to be, he just smiled and moved on without any response. This lack of concern from the management was disheartening.I hope they take customer feedback seriously and work on improving both the food quality and staff behavior. For now, I wouldn't recommend this place based on my recent experience.
