Today I ordered Chiken Kolhapuri and shawarma but it was too bad I ever had. Worst taste and Chiken was not cooked properly!!! Disappointed

I’ve been to Bannanje Swadist Hotel several times now, and it has easily become one of my go-to places in Udupi for a good, filling meal. It’s located conveniently in Bannanje, so it’s easy to reach whether you’re coming from the main city area or nearby localities. The place is not fancy, but it’s clean, simple, and always welcoming — the kind of hotel where you can walk in anytime and feel comfortable. The food here honestly lives up to its name — “Swadist” means tasty, and that’s exactly what it is. The meals are well-prepared, not too oily or spicy, and always fresh. I’ve tried their South Indian meals a few times, and they are really satisfying — served hot, with good portions and that authentic Udupi-style taste. Their dosas and parottas are also excellent, crisp and flavorful, especially when paired with chutney or curry. The staff are friendly and attentive, even when the place gets busy during lunch hours. Service is usually quick, and I’ve never had to wait long for my order. What I like most is that they maintain good hygiene and serve everything neatly. Everytime I visit this restaurant I promise myself never to step in again, but the location is so ideal and in extreme hungry conditions I do ..there is some kind of bloating and puking sensation every time I dine here. Do they add soda like most of hotels do … I don’t know… but I feel sick after eating here.
