After a long walk around Ward's Lake, go to this restaurant and have a rest here. The chef at Hotel Suruchi cooks tasty fried fish, fried vegetables and roti. The cute staff welcomes visitors all year round. A lot of people mark that the service is decent. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, prices are average. The exotic atmosphere has been highlighed by the clients. But google users haven't given this place a high rating.

Best food quality in Shillong. Bengali thali is the main charm of this hotel.service is good but the ambience is very noisy & crowded.Must try the mutton kosha & potato fry. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Rice Dal Mix Veg Fried Potatoes, Plain Dal, Potato Fry, Mutton Kosha, Veg Thali

Hotel Suruchi is the most budget friendly and hygenic Bengali restrurant in Shillong. It is located just a few minutes walking distance from the Police bazar central point, making it easily accesible for tourists. The staffs are well behaved and helpfull in nature. Although everything is quite Ok, but charging Rupees 30 for a single piece of Egg or Rs. 20 for Alu Bhaja or a Beguni in a Bengali resturant, is quite absurd. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹400–600
