(2/5) – Hotel Suraj Palace, Bhubaneswar I stayed at Hotel Suraj Palace, Bhubaneswar during the ODMMUN conference and my overall experience was average at best. Positives: • The location was manageable for the event. • Basic facilities like check-in and food service were functional. Negatives (which affected the stay significantly): • Hygiene was very poor – the room was not maintained properly. • The bed had stains, which gave a very unpleasant impression. • Drainage was poor, especially in the bathroom, which caused discomfort. • Overall cleanliness and upkeep did not meet basic expectations. While the stay was manageable for the short event duration, the lack of hygiene and maintenance made it far from comfortable. With better upkeep and attention to cleanliness, this hotel could improve, but as of now, I would only rate it 2/5 stars.
