Dining at this restaurant with a great view of Narsinhwadi Datta Mandir will be a beautiful experience for clients. Nicely cooked fried chicken is among the dishes to be tried at Hotel Standard Biryani. A number of reviewers find the staff pleasant. This place is known for its nice atmosphere. Hotel Standard Biryani Kolhapur – A Food Lover’s Paradise! I visited Hotel Standard Biryani Kolhapur for three consecutive days and tried their Mutton Thali, Chicken Thali, and Chicken Dum Biryani. Each meal was an outstanding experience, packed with authentic Kolhapuri flavors. Day 1: Mutton Thali – A Spicy & Flavorful Feast! On the first day, I ordered their Mutton Thali, and it was absolutely delicious. The thali came with: Mutton Sukka – Dry mutton cooked in Kolhapuri spices, tender and full of smoky flavors. Mutton Curry – A thick, rich, and spicy gravy that paired perfectly with both bhakri and rice. Tambda Rassa & Pandhra Rassa – The signature Kolhapuri gravies, where Tambda Rassa was fiery and flavorful, and Pandhra Rassa was mild and creamy, balancing the heat. Bhakri & Chapati – Soft and fresh, enhancing the overall experience. Rice & Side Salads – The steamed rice complemented the curry well, and the fresh salads added crunch. The spice level was high, but the flavors were well-balanced. If you love authentic Kolhapuri mutton, this thali is a must-try. 5/5 – Highly Recommended! --- Day 2: Chicken Thali – A Perfect Blend of Spice & Taste! On the third day, I decided to try their Chicken Dum Biryani, and it was outstanding! Long-grain Basmati Rice – Perfectly cooked, aromatic, and infused with rich spices. Juicy Chicken Pieces – Well-marinated and tender, packed with delicious flavors. Layered Dum Cooking – The biryani had a perfect balance of spices, with every grain of rice full of aroma. Raita & Salan – The cool raita balanced the spice, and the salan added an extra layer of taste. The biryani was mildly spicy but had a deep, rich taste.
