I had Idly and Sambhar here and was quite disappointed. The Sambhar tasted sour and only coconut chutney was served with it. The ambience was also not good. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Idli Vada Sambar

Dear Jatin,I think, you have not tasted authentic south indian sambar. Henceyou are not able to understand the real taste.Coconut chutney and sambar are basic side dishes for idly. If demanded, we provide, tomato chutney also, as, every one does not take tomato chutney. You cannot expect a 5 star ambience, in a traditional south indian restaurant. You do not know what is traditional south indian taste andcourtesy.

South Point Pure Veg Restaurant is a delightful spot for those seeking authentic vegetarian cuisine in a clean and welcoming environment. Located conveniently, the restaurant stands out for its consistent quality and prompt service. The ambiance is simple yet comfortable, making it suitable for both families and casual diners. The menu offers a wide variety of Indian dishes, including South Indian staples like dosa, idli, and vada, as well as North Indian favorites such as paneer butter masala, dal makhani, and assorted Indian breads. Each dish is prepared fresh and served hot, with a balanced mix of spices that pleases the palate without being overwhelming. The thali meals are especially popular for their variety and value. One of the highlights of South Point is its hygiene and courteous staff. The servers are attentive and quick to respond to requests. Pricing is reasonable, making it a good option for everyday dining. Whether you are a local or a visitor looking for quality vegetarian food, South Point is a dependable choice. Overall, it's a place that lives up to its reputation with wholesome food, efficient service, and a pleasant dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone craving pure vegetarian meals.
