My recent experience at Hotel Silver Leaf was very disappointing, and there is a lot of scope for improvement in cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest comfort. In the first allotted room, as soon as I entered, I was met with a strong unpleasant smell. There was also visible dirt behind the door, the bathroom entrance looked dirty, and the towels appeared old and worn out, as if they hadn’t been changed for decades. The lighting setup was also uncomfortable, only ambient dim lights were available, with no option to switch to bright white light. This was depressing at evening and inconvenient for tasks like working or eating in the room. Due to these issues, I refused the initial room. The staff did show me other rooms to switch to, but during this process, I also passed by their kitchen and found it unhygienic, which discouraged me from eating there. Finally, as I was very tired, I chose one of their comparatively decent rooms but ended up ordering dinner from outside. I sincerely hope the management addresses these problems, especially odor control, deep cleaning, towel quality, and proper lighting so that future guests have a more comfortable and pleasant stay.
