One of the very decent hotels in Sringeri. The room was clean and neat. Bathroom was also neat and hot water was available. The hotel is at 1km distance from the Sringeri temple and you can get auto to reach the temple. The front desk staff were very friendly. Service: 4

One of the best hotels in Sringeri. Recently I stayed there for 2 days. They have good connects with local cab and auto drivers and help you to visit temples around other than Sharadamba temple. They are informative and can guide you. This hotel is 1.5 kms from Sringeri Bus Stand. From temple, it is closely 2 kms. Safe to stay, They have a restaurant inside the hotel and you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner. They can serve food to your room too. Ideal hotel for families, couples and solo travellers. Service: 5

Dear PatrickJust reviewing the Hotels hereunder.1. The top most and best one JYOTHIS RESIDENCY, KOLLUR. The real Deluxe Hotel with International Standards. Autoslide doors with a luxurious A/C lounge and 24x7 reception desk. Spacious room. Every thing kept ready in the room. Noneed to demand any shortfall. Very polite service boys. The only Hotel with trollies to carry baggages. The only desire is the Restaurent not attached. The adjacent building. No A/C . The food was fine. iT was very hot even in February itself!The added advantage: Very nearer to the Kollur Mookambiga Temple. Walkable. Had a very good and satisfying Dharshan night as well early morning. A most comfortable stay. MY RATING; 9 out of 10. Wish them keep it up.2. Next comes HOTEL SHARADA COMFORTS, SRINGERI. Spacious room. Small reception lounge with hot sun. Goodservice boys, with every thing kept ready in the room. No question of demanding left outs. Hotel in a vantage position with super natural scenes of greenery and mountains. Refreshing stay. Good Restaurent in the Ground Floor itself. Here too no A/C. Onlyfans. The Sharada Temple and Mutt not nearer. Nice stay. MY RATING: 7.5 out of 10.3. Next HOTEL AKSHAYADHARA, SUBRAHMANYA: Located in a good place. Good reception lounge. Nice spacious room.Here too every thing kept ready in the room. No demands. Good service boys. Restaurent in Ground near Car Parks. A/Cfamily rooms available for dining. Good food. No complimentary break fast or tea, though a Deluxe one. This too not nearerto the Temple. Coffee ready by 7.30 morning only in the Restaurent! Good Stay. MY RATING: 6 out of 10.4. HOTEL ASOKAVANA, GOKARNA: Not a Deluxe one. An ordinary old one. The boy brought one by one soap, towels, etc after our occupying. Restaurent in the ground floor, with fans. A calm and serene place with no noises and any disturbances. We didntfeel a Hotel Stay here. The boys were so caring with love and affection, we felt very homely. Manjunath the Restaurent Boy wasso kind that he offered me complimentary good coffee in the early morning by 5.45 am itself, as we in the habit of getting up daily by4.30 am. He was all in all in the Restaurent. Cooking too he took care and told us to demand any food that he will arrange. Satisfyingstay. Service took the top place and comforts become lesser need! MY RATING: Hotel 5 out of 10. Service: 10 out of 10. Any SeniorCitizen would feel happier here.5. HOTEL SRI KRISHNA RESIDENCY, UDIPI: THOUGH TERMED A DELUXE ONE, NOT UPTO THE MARK. Not so a spacious room.The A/C didnt function well. No mandatory/complimentary mineral water bottles. Should improve service. The Restaurent is too small aone in the Ground Floor without A/C. A hot owen to sit and dine there!! Wont like to stay there any further. Better the less said.MY RATING: 4 out of10.6. HOTEL ADELINE, MYSORE: The eye sore of our trip as already discussed. Nothing kept ready in the room. Had to demand everything. What a night mare stay.?! The Manager phoned me while we were returning to Bengaluru to convince me in vain. He said ACCL and Generator in good condition! But no power in the night??!! LOL!! The Hotel in good location with ameneties. But with a very verypathetic management. The intercom totally dead even when power there! No 24x7 reception desk service!! Even without knowing therewas no powewr supply, the boys were sleeping on the floor and couches of the reception lobby. Just think of the ordeals of my wife who is a dia patient. With no power, water or tissue in the bath room. Cant even imagine. WONT EVEN DREAM OF VISITING AGAINT THISHOTEL. Of course, the Restaurent kids were very understanding and helped us with a fine gesture. Our Blessings to the kids. Pleasenote THERE IS NO PLACE FOR ANY LIARS IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY.. Now looking to the refund for our stay as promised byyou. Should have avoided this aberration.YoursV Somasundaram
