This restaurant is a nice choice if you are in the mood for Chinese and Mughlai cuisines. The chef at Hotel S4G cooks good tandoori chicken, prawns and fried chicken. Invite your beloved with you and eat perfectly cooked brownies, fruit ice cream and fruit salads.
The cosy atmosphere of this place makes customers feel relaxed and have a nice time. A number of guests point out that the staff is attentive here. Spectacular service is something that people highlight in their reviews. Medium prices are not suitable for this this spot. You will like the fine decor. Regrettably, our dining experience at S4G Hotel on Solapur Road was far from satisfactory. We arrived with high hopes for a delicious lunch, but left with disappointment and a bitter taste in our mouths.
We ordered the Veg dum biryani, expecting a flavorful and aromatic dish. However, what we received was nothing more than 3 times masala added steamed rice with no trace of the traditional biryani spices or flavors. The dish lacked the essential elements that make a biryani special, leaving us extremely disappointed with the taste. In addition, I also ordered the dal tadka, hoping for a comforting and well-seasoned lentil dish. To my dismay, the dal tadka turned out to be plain boiled dal, devoid of any trace of tempering or tadka. It seemed as though the dish was hastily prepared without paying attention to the essential flavors and techniques that make a dal tadka so enjoyable.
The only redeeming aspect of our experience was the pleasant ambiance of the hotel. The surroundings were inviting and well-maintained, creating a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for guests. However, the lackluster food overshadowed this positive aspect.
When we approached the captain regarding our dissatisfaction, his response was disappointing. He casually stated that the main cook was absent, offering no explanation or attempt to rectify the situation. This lack of professionalism and indifference only served to further sour our experience.Despite the disappointment and the fact that we only consumed around 30% of the food served, we were still required to pay the full bill amount. This added to our frustration and left us with a sense of regret for choosing S4G Hotel.
As a passionate food enthusiast, I do not recommend visiting this establishment for the food. While the ambiance may be appealing, it is the quality and taste of the food that ultimately determines the success of a dining experience. Unfortunately, in this case, the absence of flavor and care in preparation left us deeply unsatisfied.
It is my hope that the management of S4G Hotel takes this feedback constructively and works towards improving the quality of their dishes and ensuring that every guest receives a memorable and satisfying dining experience.
