I visited Hotel Udaya Vilas and had a great experience. It’s a simple and genuine hotel. The staff is polite, helpful, and they understand English, which makes it easy for tourists. I tried the masala dosa and udit vada—both were very tasty. The dosa was crispy and the vada was soft and flavorful. Food quality is good, service is quick, and prices are reasonable. Overall, a nice place for decent South Indian food in Badami. Must try if you’re visiting Badami, Karnataka..
