Attempt to injure physically, rob and blackmailI am a resident of a town in Nanded district and Government employee working nearby Nagpur. Due to some urgent work, I was travelling via umarkhed to my town on 07th June 2021. I have reched Umarkhed at around 07.00 PM and waited for an hour for Bus though ST official told me that chances are very rare of getting the bus to my home town. Finally, I have called my brother and asked for pick up from Umarkhed. As Umarkhed is very small town, all the shops were closed by 07.30 PM and there was no one in the bus stand. For Safety reason, I have decided to stay in a lodge/Hotel for one/two hours till my brother reaches. So I went to Hotel Raj Delux (suggested by a person near Bus stand) situated in a small lane opposite to Umarkhed Bus Stand and asked whether I could get Room for two hours. The receptionist told me that he cant provide me Room for two hours, but I can wait in Reception section till my brother reaches. The receptionist suddenly went outside for unknown reasons.While I was waiting in the reception section, a person who was fully drunk sat near me and started asking for my identitiy card. Initially I ignored him as he was in drunken state. But that person claimed that he is Manager of Hotel and again started for asking Identitity card. As the hotel/lodge was average and room charges were not high, I have told the alleged person that I am ready to reserve the room for one day though I was there for just two hours. But he was not ready book the room, but he was still asking for my identity card (to blackmail me) and started to quarrel and misbehave with me. He also called a fraud looking old person with malicious intention to injure me physically and rob me. Both the persons were looking fraudulent with malicious intention and they were aggressively coming close to me with malicious intention. As it was late night and no one was outside, I have left that place immediately. This whole incident taken place in between 9.30 PM to 10.15 PM, particularly 09.45 PM to 10.00 PM. There were CCTV cameras in reception section. So this incident must have recorded by the camera. I was wearing a reddish shirt and black-gray trouser on that day. The whole incident was looking pre-planned and such things might have happened/may happen with other persons.Requesting you to identify that person with the help of CCTV footage of 09.30 to 10.15 PM and take necessary action against them.
