Hotel Pragati The Grand in Ahmedabad is a great place to stay and enjoy a meal. The premises are good and the location is prime, situated near Zydus Hospital on SG Highway. The rooms are clean and well-equipped with furniture and clean lavatories. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious, with a variety of vegetarian options available. The banquet facility is also great for hosting family functions or wedding receptions, and can accommodate up to 70 people at once. The only downside is that there are not enough lifts for the number of rooms and there is no proper parking facility. However, overall, Hotel Pragati The Grand is a great place to stay and enjoy a meal, with friendly staff and good service.

I have been coming to Hotel Pragati Grand almost monthly for the past 3 years and staying in their Executive rooms. Positives: Morning check in; outstanding courtesy and responsiveness of all staff: reception, room service, housekeeping, bell boys, etc.; reasonable cleanliness, good rooms (a bit small) with required furniture, furnishings and amenities, clean bed and bath linen, great veg breakfast with at least 4 hot items plus cereals, cut fruit, bread butter, tea, coffee; quick check in and check out, etc. It is not 4 or 5 star, but excellent value for money with clean, comfortable rooms and a filling breakfast. Service: 5
