Pathetic! I generally do not give reviews anywhere, but here I am forced to review so that nobody else gets fooled in. Do not go by the good reviews on the internet. This is the worst place anybody could get. We had booked 2 rooms in this hotel for our family seeing the reviews and photos, but it was a horrible choice. Both rooms were not at all clean, it was totally dusty with stained linens and unhygienic rooms/bathrooms. You cannot even control the AC from your room. Most of the corridor lights were totally broken. Its totally overpriced for this shitty stay. I will never recommend this hotel even if given for free. Service: 1

I stayed at golden park for two days with family. Rooms are very nasty and stinky smell. Only reception area is clean. 1. No AC control in room number 104 2. No hot water 3. Very stinky. They don't even have room freshner 4. Rude behaviour of reception staff Mr.Balaji. 5. Extra charge for 10 years old boy even without extra bed 6. Hand shower not working in restroom 7. No room service Better try to avoid this kind of hotel. Not worth 2k per night. 8. False ceiling is totally open. Lack of customer service knowledge for receptionist Balaji. He doesn't know how to respond to a customer. There is a lady accompanying in reception doesn't even answer anything properly. Only the location is good and nearby accessible to all places. I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the recent hotel booking I made through your platform. My stay at [ THE GOLDEN PARK ] in [MADURAI] has been far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my experience in detail: 1. **Room Size and Cleanliness:** The room initially provided to me was significantly smaller than advertised, yet the charges were very high. Despite the hefty price, the room was far from the spacious accommodation I expected. Moreover, the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. The towels were so untidy that they caused rashes in my pelvic area, and the bed seemed as if it was several years old. 2. **Air Conditioning Issues:** The air conditioning in the room was not functioning properly. I informed the reception multiple times, and only after several attempts did they manage to get the AC working. This caused considerable discomfort during my stay. 3. **Lack of Basic Amenities:** - **Glasses:** I was provided with only one glass, despite booking the room for a family of three. I requested an additional glass multiple times, but I was rudely refused, with the staff insisting that only one glass would be provided per room. Moreover, the glass that was provided was dirty and appeared to have been used before. - **Water Bottles:** Only one water bottle was provided, and I was informed that additional bottles would incur extra charges. - **Room Service and Phone Issues:** The phone in the room was not working, and the staff insisted that I go to the restaurant or bar myself for service. The room service was generally unresponsive and unhelpful. 4. **Staff Behavior:** The staff members were uncooperative and demanded money for basic services. Whenever I requested something, such as soap or other amenities, the room service staff would ask for money, claiming it was for their personal use. This behavior is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. 5. **Language Barrier and TV Issues:** The television in the room was set to menu language in Tamil. I requested the room service staff to change the language to Hindi or English, but my request was rudely denied because I did not pay them for their extra money This kind of response is not only unprofessional but also shows a complete disregard for customer service. 6. **Mosquito Infestation and Bathroom Issues:** The room was infested with mosquitoes, making the stay very uncomfortable. And I requested them to give the mosquitoe spray or coil Additionally, the toilet jet and geyser in the bathroom were not working properly, further adding to the inconvenience. 7. **Bar and Snack Service:** When I ordered drinks from the bar, I was not provided with any snacks. I was told to come to the bar personally if I needed snacks, which is not the kind of service I expected from a reputed hotel. Given the numerous issues I faced, I am extremely disappointed with my experience at [the golden park].
