Had breakfast today at Paramount Hotel, Kilpauk. Saw some YouTube videos and came to know that they were serving NV Breakfast in the mornings. I was probably the first (and only) customer of the day. The waiter suggested Appam / Idiyappam & Paya. As I’m not a paya fan, I opted for Appam & Mutton white kurma. Both were really good. There were seven solid pieces of Mutton with no bones or fat. Just couldn’t finish it. He even served some additional gravies (curries) and asked me to try them out. In the end I had to order one hot idly to finish the sides. 4/5 and totally worth the money. Not to mention the special tea to close things up, which reminded me of having tea in the 90s in the saucer Cheers!! Hotel Paramount is a famous old restaurant in kailpak,Chennai....The interior and ambience was okay...Mutton biryani's quantity was enough but taste was below average...Staffs are co-operative...Price was okay... Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Recommended dishes: Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Mutton Biriyani, Chicken Masala, Paratha
