Come to this restaurant to try good rice & curry, chicken biryani and fried chicken. Most visitors find the staff well-trained. If you want to enjoy cool service, you should visit Hotel Pangat. I visited hotel pangat with family for lunch, for first time on 1st Oct 2025, recommended by a office colleague who went there several times. We were total five people including a ten year old child. I ordered 2 pangat special mutton thali and one pangat special chicken thali and one extra mutton fry It was more than sufficient for five people. Since we are bengali, we replaced indrayani rice and bhakri with steam rice, the management is super kind and customised everything as per our request. Now coming to the most important thing - quality of mutton and chicken (ek number), taste of alani soup, mutton fry, chicken fry, mutton and chicken rassa (ek number). Honestly the taste is superb and don't go by these negative reviews by some people. They serve pure male goat meat and not sheep, there is huge difference, google it. Most hyped restaurants serve sheep as it is cheaper. Though I am bengali, I am a big fan of maharashtrian style mutton/chicken thalis, I tried mutton thalis in many places in Pune, Kolhapur, Solapur, Satara, Bhigwan etc, in places like Surve's, Kaveri, maratha samrath, hotel Parekh etc. , honestly hotel Pangat beats them all. Good quality and super taste. Staff was super kind, tasty mutton and chicken, made mine and family's day! I will keep on visiting this place with family and friends and keep recommending others as well.
