I recently visited "Hotel Padma Guest House" in Kolhapur for dinner, as it is known to be one of the city’s oldest and most popular hotels, famous for its taste over the years. I tried their "Mutton Super Special Thali," expecting something memorable, but honestly, the food turned out to be quite average in taste. It didn’t quite live up to the reputation the hotel carries. I had also tried their "Kheema Papad" which was extermely Delicious and Tasty. If you want something new to try , Just go for it. It tastes really good with those flavourful Mutton Kheema on the top. On the positive side, the "service and ambience" were really impressive. The staff was attentive, polite, and quick to serve, and the environment felt warm and welcoming. These aspects definitely added to the overall dining experience. However, when it comes to food quality, I felt it fell short of the legacy this hotel is known for. Perhaps due to the high expectations I had, the thali didn’t match up to what I was hoping for. Overall, "Hotel Padma Guest House" still stands strong with great service and ambience, but in terms of taste, at least with the "Mutton Super Special Thali," it didn’t quite meet my expectations. But one can still try and taste their other Thalis.
