I am writing to express my immense disappointment in the professional conduct of your staff at the Hotel Neptune, part of The ROYAL KITCHEN, today. I am a frequent visitor of your hotel, having visited on multiple occasions, yet this was my first experience of such rude and unprofessional service. I ordered the Biriyani dish, only to find that it was made with an overly-spiced masala. When I asked the waiter for some plain rice so that I could make the dish edible, he refused, and instead suggested that I pay for a quarter plate of plain khushka. This was really disheartening. To top it all, he had the audacity to say, “I know what kind of customer you are; you want extra rice free of cost and that most customers in the area are like me.”. Given the premium price of Rs 110 per Biriyani charged at the Hotel Neptune, where other hotels offer this dish at Rs. 80, I would expect the service to be of the same caliber. Especially considering that you have a name to uphold with multiple branches in the city. I am making a Google review regarding this incident, and this review serves as a warning to customers. In the light of this experience, they should consider avoiding the Hotel Neptune unless they seek to be treated unprofessionally.
