I visited Hotel Mitrapriya Cafe, a pure vegetarian establishment located in the Mitra Hospital building in Kadekoppala, Chitpady, Udupi, Karnataka. Unfortunately, my experience there was disappointing. I decided to try their cutlet, expecting a popular evening snack, but it was below average and, to my surprise, was served lukewarm instead of hot. I also ordered the Vijayapura girmit, commonly referred to as masala mandakki, but it failed to meet my expectations. It was soggy and lacked flavor, completely missing the mark of what traditional girmit should be. To round out my meal, I tasted their tea, which, like the other items, was disappointing and did not leave a lasting impression. Considering my experiences, I would not recommend this hotel. There are plenty of other dining options in Udupi that offer better quick bites and snacks, making it easy to find more satisfying meals elsewhere.
