If you're an Indian cuisine lover, come here. Nicely cooked fried fish, spicy prawns and chicken biryani have a pleasant taste. As it is known from the guests' comments, good payasam is a must-try here. You will appreciate delicious juice at this restaurant.

Kannappa is always known for its chettinad style non-veg dishes. We started off with Fish fingers which is a signature dish here, crispy and juicy, a must try. Chicken 65 was okay, not great but not bad either. Coming to the main course we started off with Chicken Biryani and Mutton Biryani. Both were good, but I felt the quantity was very less since they dip the pieces and egg in the same bowl and after you put that on to your plate, there’s hardly half plate of Biryani left. Then we ordered some Nool Parotta which was absolutely worst. It looked just like regular Parotta, no thread like appearance whatsoever. The gravy they gave to it was also not that great. Next to the last item on the list is yet another signature dish here which is the Elaneer Payasam, it’s a must try. Coming to the other stuff, the ambience was good followed by nice service. The parking near the hotel is very limited for about 5-6 cars only and about 10-15 bike or so. Overall, it was a good experience if not for the small niggles, it would’ve been much better.
