Rooms are quite good but the location is in MIDC Ratnagiri. There's a fish oil factory nearby because of which it smells very bad for a certain duration and also that smells stays in a hotel room for quite some time. Service: 3

If you're searching for a good hotel for family and friends at reasonable rates, near to Ratnagiri Railway Station and good rooms. Then, Hotel Kanchan is a very good option. I stayed here for 3 days. Very good room service, polite behaviour of staff, clean rooms & bathroom. Impressed with their hospitality and environment. They have good parking space too. The only problem you'll face here is fish smell. I think there is a fish cold storage behind the hotel. Management need to solve this problem only. At the end, overall it was good experience.
