I have been a loyalist of Raj restaurant since my child hood as it’s one of the oldest and best eateries serving Udipi cuisine in south Calcutta and being in the same locality it has been our go to Restaurant whenever we wanted to have Dosa and South Indian snacks , this was my 1st order via Zomato and was shocked by the deterioration of the quality. The Sada Vada which was a specialty with its crispy outer layer with tender inside was a mound of soggy Vada which resembled raw Vada of dahi Vada . The plain sada dosa which otherwise has always been a a wonderfully tasty and crispy thin turned out to be stretchy and the batter extremely salty . All in all has been he worst dosa from the one of the best place having an excellent legacy . Honestly have faced similar experience with Zomato while ordering from other places also . The food quality between the physically getting in shop and ordering from Zomato has been shockingly opposite the food ordered via Zomato turned out to be of drastically inferior quality. Zomato shud seriously review
