Debated 3 or 4 out of 5 ...the best feature of this hotel was the service and food from the hotel restaurant, especially the service from Biltu ! On arriving, there was no friendly greeting or welcome, in fact the manager seemed to have absolutely no interest in us at all during our 3 night stay. The room was clean but the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, no drinkng water provided at all, no safe in the room, just bare basics. We had a room facing the street which was noisy all night including the persistent barking of dogs which is really the norm here in india... The hotel is very close to the train station, about 15 minutes walk, which was the reason we chose this hotel. As stated before, the service at the restaurant was a completely different experience in fact, we ate there every night. The breakfast was very basic but you could order an egg dish and tea or coffee. Had the reception from the staff been more inviting then this hotel would be a 4 for me also considering the reasonable price.
