Read to get clear idea. I have ordered multiple times from this place through Swiggy, and although the prices online are low, the quality has consistently been disappointing. The dal is extremely watery and most curries taste stale, as if they are leftovers. When dining in, the experience was worse. They charged full menu rates and later mentioned that the cheaper online prices are because the food is three to five days old, which was shocking The hygiene here urgently needs improvement. The setup feels like a small roadside dhaba, the tables smell strongly of fish and there are flies everywhere. Cleanliness should be prioritized, especially when serving meals that aim to give a Bengali experience On a positive note, the fish and meat are cooked well, although not always fresh However, the pricing is quite high considering the portion size and overall quality. Compared to this, Annapoorna Bengali Mess Veg & Non-Veg offers slightly better food and hygiene, though it is around ₹10–₹20 costlier. Still, it feels a bit more worth the price. Overall, if you are homesick and craving Bengali food, you may give these places a try, but do not go with high expectations and be prepared to spend more than you would expect.
