Had porotta and beef curry; the porotta was soft and tasty, though smaller in size, while the beef curry was served in generous quantity but turned out to be just average in taste and far too oily. The overall dining experience wasn’t great—the place felt cramped, noisy, and lacked a comfortable atmosphere. Customer service was disappointing, especially with the unpleasant attitude of the man at the cash counter, which left a sour aftertaste to the visit. Based on an Instagram reel, I decided to try Hotel Choice in Andamukkam, Kollam, specifically their Beef Rib, Tawa Chicken, and Kannur Cocktail (a milk-based shake). The Beef Rib and Tawa Chicken were tasty and well-cooked, while the Kannur Cocktail was just average. The ambiance was that of a typical Kerala restaurant—nothing fancy. The service, especially from the aged staff, was good, but neatness could be improved to enhance the overall dining experience.
