On 1 st march 2026 a family of six members have tried here food cost is too high only hand written bill we didn’t ask the price ,finally the price of one fish is 450 rs not worth prices are too high don’t try this hotel. Price per person: ₹2,000+

I visited Bismi Hotel (Shop No. 5, Nagarakshi Complex, 6th Line, Rameswaram – 623526) for lunch, and the experience was very disappointing. We checked the prices beforehand based on reviews. A normal veg meals cost 120 rupees, but the items provided (aviyal, Rasam,sambar, curd.) were hardly worth even 60 rupees. We ordered prawns curry, and they clearly told us 280 rupees in Tamil. But during billing, they suddenly changed it to 380 rupees, saying “miscommunication”. This felt very unfair and misleading. Their biriyani cost 170 rupees for just one piece of chicken, an egg, and very little rice. The only good thing was the taste of the biriyani rice. But even then, the biriyani pot was kept outside, and there were many flies flying over it — very unhygienic. Also, they pack hot fish curry and other hot items in plastic covers for parcel, which is unsafe. Overall, not worth the money and definitely not a pleasant experience.
