Watch out the hotel staff scams tourists when they have the chance . I booked an hotel online in delhi and got myself a tuk tuk driver to get there . He said the hotel was in a bad neighbourhood and convinced me to cancel it . I cancelled the booking and let the tuk tuk driver bring me to hotel alka that he recommended and said it was the best place to go . When i arrived and checked in i payed right away for 2 nights . I signed and filled in papers for this , but i didnt ask for a copie of the papers and receipts . When i wanted to check out they hotelmanager said i payed for only 1 night and said i had to pay for another night because otherwise the guard would not let me out of the hotel . This time suddenly the price was twice as high as usual and the papers and receipts i signed where disappeared. The showed me a new paper without my signature forced me to pay more money . Always book online so you have proof of payment and what and how many nights you payed for , i you dont they will take advantage of it and scam you ! Service: 1

P.S - The bar at Hotel Alka Classic is called Saqi Bar. The bar has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, with a traditional Indian decor reminiscent of Old Delhi architecture. Saqi Bar focuses on North Indian and Mughlai cuisine, alongside local and international brands of liquor.
