Hopscotch in Coonoor is the only pub in the Nilgiris and it's a great place to visit when in the area. The ambience is perfect and the scenery and view is amazing. The entrance may be a bit shady but the inside is spacious and cozy. The menu offers world cuisine and the liquor collection is good. The starters presentation is innovative and the food is delicious. Do try their LIIT, wings, chicken sausage wrapped in bacon and wood fired pizzas. Live music is played on most weekends and they also have DJ nights and Bollywood nights. The staff is friendly and helpful and the manager is quick to accept shortcomings. Prices are in the higher side but it's worth it for a one time visit. Beware of the monkeys near the entrance. The only drawback is that they shut the place way too early. Overall, Hopscotch is a great place for an outing or time out with friends.

My family and I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Hopscotch Restobar in Coonoor. The ambience was excellent—relaxing and vibrant—making it a perfect setting for a memorable night out. The food was absolutely awesome, exceeding our expectations in both taste and presentation. The live music was excellent. Aso, who served our table, looked after us very well; he was extremely polite and courteous, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
