I recently visited Shoppers Restro Cafe and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food was very average, and the service left much to be desired. I ordered Gulab Jamun with Ice Cream, and the staff brought two servings even though I never mentioned wanting two. To make matters worse, the “ice cream” was literally just one spoon—not even a full scoop! The combination felt incomplete and unsatisfying. The drinks were no better—just sugary syrups. I ordered a Chocolate Strawberry Milkshake, which, as per the menu, was supposed to include one scoop each of vanilla and chocolate ice cream. However, they made it only with vanilla ice cream. Despite it being strawberry season, they used sugary syrup instead of fresh strawberries, which was quite disappointing. We also ordered the Falafel Platter, and the falafel balls were shockingly small—the smallest I’ve ever seen! They tasted just okay, nothing remarkable. The ambiance was decent, but overall, the experience was underwhelming. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they seriously improve their food quality and attention to detail.
