At this cafe, guests can drink delicious coffee. HookUp Cafe is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. The atmosphere of this place is charming. But this place hasn't gained a high rating from Google users.
This place opened a few months back, and I was quite eager to visit it as it appeared to be quite fancy from the pictures. But I realised how wrong I was when I actually visited it. Absolutely nothing is good about Hookup Cafe! The food is bad, the portions too small, the prices too high, the service slow and the music too loud.
For details, we ordered:
Mushroom Kurkure (Rs139) - Crunchy pakora type tiny pieces of mushroom; in fact this was the only dish that tasted good. But the quantity was too less.
Veg Hakka Noodles (Rs129) - Tasted bland and the quantity was hardly enough even for a single person!
Veg Steamed Momo (Rs139) - Well, we ordered Veg Pan Fried Momo, but they served us steamed momo! The filling of the momo did not taste bad, but the outer covering was thick and very hard, and the size of the momo was again very small.
Even street stalls make better momo and noodles than Hookup Cafe!
The waiters did not even care to serve drinking water. The music was so loud that we could not hear each others' voices. We did not also like the crowd. The only thing I liked - they had neon lights! And they gave us neon Independence Day bands, 15th August as it was.
No idea about the hookah, but for food it's strictly not recommended.
As for me, NEVER visiting again!
