Mumbai on a plate: 5 restaurants defining the city's culinary scene
by Nina Anderson
After visiting Shivaji Park, you can look over the menu at this cafe. Chinese and Italian cuisines can be served here. To taste perfectly cooked butter chicken pizza, chilli chicken and fried cheese is a truly nice idea. Good blueberry cheesecakes, chocolate cakes and black forest cakes will impress you at the first bite. It is good to enjoy delicious strawberry mojito, mint mojito or wine. Get your meal started with great chocolate shake, cold coffee or bread drink.
A cozy place with a beautiful interior is all you need for a holiday with your family. The staff is cool that's what makes Home Chef All Day Dining so good. Prompt service is something guests agree upon here. Prices at this place claim to be democratic.

Home Chef - All Day Dining is located near Dadar Shivaji Park and it is accurately available on Google Maps hence easy to find.
The restaurant is decent in size with really cute ambiance made using wooden tables and chairs. Loved the lightings done and a particular table with sofa seating with bright blue background looks stunning. I loved the display of their bread and dessert section. Overall totally loved the mix of modern and vintage elements used in the ambiance.
They specialise in multi cuisine and apart from their amazing menu they have great options for Keto, Gluten-free, Vegans as well. Their menu contains Indian, Italian, American, Chinese and Continental and their sizzlers are very famous. They also make various type of breads and cakes. Prices are at par with similar type of brands and the quantity served is excellent.
They are also currently running an amazing offer wherein from Monday to Friday between 3PM to 7PM you will get BOGO in panini, open sandwich, sizzlers and Mocktails. Saturday and Sunday between 4PM to 6PM you will get unlimited ice tea refills half margerita pizza free on buying any pizza.
I went here for lunch and the kitchen service was on time and the table service by staff Kalpana was perfect as she knew the menu well and suggested us great dishes.
What We Had -
APPETIZERS~
Hotch Potch Nachos -
Doritos topped with salsa, cheese sauce, beans and pomegranate seeds looked great and tasted delicious. Loved the cheese sauce and the fresh salsa as it wasn't too tangy. I was skeptical about the taste of pomegranate in this but trust me it adds great punch to the dish.
Fire Cracker Sausages -
This is among their bestsellers and it definitely deserves it. Chicken sausages tossed in spicy tangy garlic and black pepper based sauce tasted delicious. The flavours of black pepper and garlic was toned down hence you can enjoy the taste of the juicy sausages. Loved every bit of this dish.
MAINS~
Mushroom Melt Panini -
The main highlight of this dish was their super amazing fresh bread. The mushroom filling also tasted good as it was a mix of mayo and cheese sauce along with jalapenos and lettuce.
Lemon Garlic Chicken Skewer Sizzler -
This was a complete meal. Herb rice along with sauteed exotic veggies, fries, grilled chicken brea*t topped with creamy paprika sauce tasted delicious. Loved the flavours of the sauce as it wasn't very spicy nor it was too cheesy. The lemon garlic chicken tasted outstanding as it had nice light flavours of garlic and the grilling was spot on keeping the juiciness intact.
DRINKS~
Mandarin Mojito.
Lychee Twist -
Both the drinks tasted refreshing. Lychee twist was more kind of juice and hence I loved the Mandarin Mojito as it had orange along with soda.
DESSERT~
Baked Cheesecake -
Great end to a delicious meal. Creamy texture, perfect sweetness this tasted great however the base of cookie crumb was too thick so that can be decreased.
So the meal at Home Chef All Day Dining was amazing as we loved the food, the service was great and the ambiance of this place is cosy and perfect. Therefore a visit here is highly recommended.
