Dear Mr. Louise,We are genuinely disappointed to read your review, especially considering the efforts we make to ensure each guest enjoys a comfortable, respectful, and enriching stay with us.To address your primary concern we would like to clearly state that we do not, and have never, banned musical instruments like guitars on our property. In fact, we are known for hosting regular music events and supporting local artists. We welcome musicians warmly, provided that their practice respects the comfort of other guests. If our team requested moderation in volume or location, it would have only been in consideration of this balance, not as a disregard for music or its value.Ironically, your review mentions extremely loud external construction noise and music from a private event—factors that contradict the idea that we enforce a “100% quiet” policy. We find it unfair to compare the volume of your guitar to that of a laptop or to assume you should be entitled to override other guests’ right to peace and quiet, regardless of the nature of your work.Regarding room cleanliness and safety, we take pride in our hygiene and maintenance standards and make a lot of efforts towards it, as can be seen in the majority of our reviews. If something was amiss, a simple request to our housekeeping or front desk would have been addressed immediately. At no point during your stay was any dissatisfaction communicated to our staff.We would also like to clarify your allegation about staff manipulating your Google rating. We have zero tolerance for such conduct, and take this accusation seriously. If true, it should have been reported to management right away rather than added as an afterthought in an online rant.Lastly, threatening to defame a property through content creation, after having enjoyed all services and facilities, is unethical and not reflective of the fair, respectful dialogue we encourage with our guests.
